$ELINK Token
The EtherlinkDAO token is not designed as a speculative asset detached from protocol function. Its role is to align incentives around execution quality, routing participation, and protocol governance.
Core utilities include:
Routing & Solver Participation Tokens can be used to participate in routing and execution resolution, aligning solvers with optimal execution outcomes rather than extractive behavior.
Protocol Governance Token holders govern key parameters of the protocol, including routing policies, solver frameworks, supported execution environments, and protocol upgrades.
Economic Alignment The token acts as a coordination mechanism, ensuring that participants who contribute to better execution — routing infrastructure, solver logic, integrations — are economically aligned with the protocol’s success.
Crucially, the token is not required for users to express intents or execute swaps. Users interact with EtherlinkDAO for execution quality, not token mechanics. The token operates at the protocol layer, not the UX layer.
